Hand Soap

Hand Soap

Four varieties of lavender oil plus rosemary, in a liquid soap that rinses clean without leaving your hands feeling stripped.

What It Is

Most hand soaps pick one lavender and call it done. This one uses four: French, Portuguese, common, and hybrid lavender oils, each with a slightly different scent character, layered together with rosemary leaf oil for a little green sharpness underneath the floral. The surfactants are plant-derived, and vegetable glycerin keeps the formula from drying out skin the way harsher soaps can.

It is made in the United States and formulated without ingredients that show up on standard toxicity watch lists. The scent is genuinely lavender-forward but not sharp or soapy-sweet.

What To Do

This is a hand soap, so the use is simple: pump, lather, rinse. It works at the kitchen sink, the bathroom sink, wherever. Because it is sold by weight as a liquid, store it in any clean pump bottle you already have.

If you are refilling a bottle that held a different soap, rinse it well first so the scents do not muddy each other. A little goes a long way. The rosemary note is strongest when the soap is fresh on your hands and fades quickly after rinsing.
