Tare Bulk Foods is an organic refill grocery store in Dickson, TN, built as the opposite of the grocery run you've come to dread.

Most stores are bright, loud, and impersonal. Endless aisles, self-checkout screens, and packaging you throw away before you've even finished the food. We wanted to build the opposite of that.

So we did.

Walk in and you'll find a wall of spices and teas you can smell before you buy, warm lighting, and real people who are glad you came in. You won't find a self-checkout.

We actually know our products.

Ask us how to use an ingredient you've never cooked with, or what to do with a tea you've never tried. You'll get a real answer, not a shrug and a vague point toward the back of the store. We're here to be your guide. Maybe that's a recipe idea, a cooking tip, or the nudge toward the thing that becomes your new staple.

We're picky about what earns a spot on the shelf.

More than 99% of what we carry is organic and/or non-GMO, and we source locally whenever we can. Grains, spices, teas, snacks, all of it chosen with your health in mind.

We've been told we offer the most soulful grocery errand around.

We'll take that. Every visit is a small stand against the ordinary. There's the feel of filling your own jar, and the quiet win of walking out with less to throw away. We use paper bags and glass jars, and when you bring your own container, you save 5%, every time.
