What It Is
OxyBoost is a dry stain remover made from sodium percarbonate and sodium bicarbonate. Sodium percarbonate is oxygen-based bleach: when it hits warm water, it breaks down into water and oxygen, which is what does the lifting. Sodium bicarbonate handles odor. No dyes, no synthetic fragrance, no chlorine.
Because it is unscented and chlorine-free, it works on colors without the bleaching risk of traditional bleach. It is also safe for septic systems.
What To Do
For laundry, dissolve one to two tablespoons in warm water and add it to your wash, or soak stained items for thirty minutes before washing. For fabric stains, mix a small amount with just enough warm water to form a paste, apply it directly, let it sit ten minutes, then rinse. For white grout or stained mugs and containers, dissolve a tablespoon in a cup of hot water and let it soak.
Store it somewhere dry. Moisture will activate it early and reduce how well it works.
