Relaxing Tea

Relaxing Tea

Three ingredients, no caffeine, no fuss. Chamomile, red raspberry leaf, and peppermint in one blend that tastes like winding down actually has a flavor.

What It Is

This is a simple, organic three-herb blend built around chamomile flowers, the small dried blossoms long used in European folk tradition as an evening tea. Red raspberry leaf adds a mild, earthy backbone with a faint tannin grip, similar to a light herbal tisane. Peppermint lifts the whole thing with a cool, clean finish that keeps it from tasting flat or medicinal.

All three herbs have been brewed as tea for generations across different cultures, and together they make a cup that is genuinely pleasant to drink on its own, not just good for you in theory.

What To Do

Bring water just to a boil, then let it sit for thirty seconds. Use about one heaping teaspoon per cup, steep for five to seven minutes covered (covering holds the volatile oils in), then strain. The longer it steeps, the more pronounced the peppermint and chamomile become. A little honey softens any bitterness nicely.

Store in a cool, dry spot away from light. This blend also works cold: steep it strong, pour over ice, and add a squeeze of lemon. Make a big batch and keep it in the fridge for up to three days.
