What It Is
These tabs are made from baking soda, citric acid, and essential oils of peppermint, tea tree, and lemon. When the tablet hits water, the baking soda and citric acid react, fizzing up to loosen grime around the bowl while the essential oils cut odor.
No bleach, no harsh fumes, nothing that needs gloves or a held breath. The short ingredient list means less chemistry in your water and less plastic in your trash.
What To Do
Drop one tablet into the toilet bowl and let it fizz for a few minutes. Then scrub lightly with a toilet brush and flush. Once a week is plenty for a regularly used bathroom, though you can use them more often if you like.
Store them somewhere dry so they don't start fizzing early. A small jar with a lid on the back of the tank works well.
