Zesty Ranch Seasoning
Everything you love about a good ranch dip, already blended and ready to shake. Tangy, herby, and a little sharp.
What It Is
Ranch seasoning is the dry backbone of the classic American dressing: dill, garlic, onion, parsley, and a hit of buttermilk powder giving it that signature tang. In dry form it keeps indefinitely and does things the bottled dressing never could, like sticking to popcorn, coating roasted potatoes, or crusting a piece of chicken without making anything soggy.
It is one of those blends that crosses categories. It works as a dip base, a spice rub, and a seasoning you reach for when a dish needs brightness and savory depth at the same time.
What To Do
Mix two tablespoons with a cup of sour cream or Greek yogurt for a quick dip. Toss with vegetables before roasting, about a teaspoon per pound. Stir into ground meat for burgers, mix into cream cheese for a spread, or shake over popcorn straight from the bowl.
For dressing, whisk one tablespoon with half a cup each of mayonnaise and milk of choice until smooth. Taste and adjust. Store the dry seasoning in a sealed container away from heat and it will hold its flavor for well over a year.
